So, if it works with my Windows 7 and other games, outside of Steam, it is not a drivers problem and something within Steam client must be causing the problem. And in control panel, the configuration of the buttons/analogic pads are detected perfectly fine. I have tried playing games outside of Steam, and IT WORKS with other PC games and emulators, both wirelessly and USB. Big picture mode doesn't detect it wirelessly (but does with USB). It does detect it via USB, and I can play fine with USB wire.
